Just minutes away from busy Las Olas Boulevard, the historic Riverwalk along the New River is a peaceful refuge with scenic views of the city. Settle in on one of the many benches to watch the yachts cruise by, or enjoy a picnic at a table on the riverbank. If you feel like a stroll, wander along the waterfront path that weaves past historic buildings, high-rise condos and a tropical oasis of lush foliage. Look for the oversize Adirondack chair near Huizenga Plaza for a great photo opportunity. There are restaurants and bars along the river as well as a free water trolley to shuttle you across to the other side. If you want some exercise, opt for a guided bike tour or Segway tour of the Riverwalk.
