Running along both sides of the New River, Riverwalk is lined with small parks and shops. It offers the opportunity to view yachts and boats that traffic the river. The mile-long Riverwalk connects major attractions like historic Stranahan House and Museum of Discovery and Science. The main attraction, Riverwalk Park, is reminiscent of Key West’s popular Mallory Square, with its open, bright colors and palm trees overlooking the water. Like its Southern cousin, Riverwalk Park has regular events. On the first Sunday of the month, there are live jazz performances, and on the fourth Sunday, local artists and performers come to perform and sell their work.
