walking along the Seine, stopping at the stalls of the bouquinistes, locking a "love-lock" on the pont du carrousel. Paris
for lovers. Paris for loners - well - it really is the same minus the lock- LOL... our lone trumpeter was playing along the lower bank of the Seine enjoying the sunny day as we walked across the pont towards L'Ardoise a fabulous tiny bistro in the 1st arrondisement. http://www.lardoise-paris.com/ After a long lunch we sat a bit in the Tuileries enjoying the people watching before heading into the Louvre. We parse the Louvre with a multi day museum pass. It is a place that you want to "sip" to enjoy rather than guzzle. An hour or so later you can find us in a cafe near Odeon enjoying a late afternoon drink and contemplating the ageless and most important question of the day "where shall we have dinner?"
