Reykjavik Roasters is a relatively new coffee shop in Reykjavik serving the best coffee in town.
It's owner, a native of Iceland, was trained to roast his beans at The Coffee Collective in Copenhagen, easily that city's premier coffee house. He's the only non-Danish employee ever allowed to roast the shop's beans and the years he devoted to his craft have paid off in the form of silky coffee that locals and tourists alike come back for again and again.
Reykjavik Roasters is just a few blocks from the town's iconic church Hallgrímskirkja and makes for a great pitstop on a day of sightseeing. Be warned though, you will want to linger in this cozy shop with its expertly roasted coffee.
