Brilliant Boulliabaisse
Bouillabaisse is the Provençal version of fish stew. The dish was made by hungry fisherman taking the catch they couldn’t sell and making a savory saffron laden broth that is served with a platter of whole cooked fish on the side, mini toasts and a mayonnaise based rouille sauce. La Gravette has been serving their version of the dish in Antibes, using a recipe that has been bringing locals back year after year for 50 years. With a spacious terrace facing the town’s port, the family run restaurant also serves a lighter fish soup and a spicy calamari on rice, best followed by an afternoon in the sun.
