Residence Inn: New Suites-Only Hotel in Breckenridge
Residence Inn Breckenridge opened in December, 2016, adding another 129 modern, compact suites to the selection in town. We were one of the first families to stay in the hotel, which was built on the site of the venerable old Breckenridge Mountain Lodge. Our family of 5 occupied two adjoining rooms, so there was plenty of space.
The new hotel is central and walking distance from the Peak 9 village and Quicksilver Lift. The rooms have fully-equipped kitchens, daily breakfast, ski storage, parking, and local shuttle service, plus a heated pool and hot tub with a stunning view of the 10-mile mountain range. The lobby (pictured above) feels like a big living room, with plenty of space for mingling with other guests and, unlike other Residence Inns around the country, this one has a bar—The Base Camp Lounge—and small restaurant menu.
