Rampart of Saint Remy

Rampart of Saint-Remy
Get your bearings by taking in the view from this granite and limestone bastion, built in 1896. Its two flights of curving steps (there is an elevator) lead to a vast terrace with benches and palm trees. The covered promenade beneath the rampart had been abandoned for years, but today it has been restored and is used for art exhibitions. There’s also a Sunday flea market on the terrace.
