Imbibe Like a Local Black mustaches mark the entrance to Rakijarnica, a seasonal pop-up bar known for its after-hours vibe, live music and long list of rakijas, Croatia's take on grappa. The bar offers more than 25 varieties, including honey, walnut, plum and pepper. "There are so many flavors," one local said, "they can make a drink out of just about anything." Once you've had a few rakijas, snack on traditional Croatian pizza topped with spicy sausage, jalapeños and a fried egg from Nocturno, a cheap late-night eatery located on the steep alleyway street of Skalinska.
