This picture is from Northern California, smack dab in the middle of rice country. This area is also known as the 'Pacific Flyway' because of all the ducks & geese that migrate south through this region. This particular photo is a cow pasture ... This area is mosquito infested from May until October, more or less. The area has some great Cat fishing, as well as some great Crawdad collecting. Approximately 80+ percent of the rice grown in the region is imported overseas. California grows some of the highest quality rice, shipped all over the world. The rice that comes from California is also the most regulated, safest rice in the entire world.
