Prince's Palace of Monaco
The Prince’s Palace has stood witness to seven centuries of sovereignty and is still the Grimaldi family’s primary residence. From the Renaissance to the Napoleonic era, styles unfold as visitors are guided into the ornate State Apartments, led past 16th-century frescoes and through the Throne Room. Just beyond the palace doors, every day at 11:55 a.m. the Carabiniers du Prince thrill crowds with the formal Changing of the Guard ceremony.
