Première Moisson is a chain of Quebec bakeries that serve the freshest fluffy, flakey, crusty, tender breads and pastries. When we asked a local we met at Le Gros Jambon (thanks for the tip Flash Parker!), she said the chain has been making reliably traditional bread for over a decade and has established itself as a local institution.
Their salads and sandwiches, fresh pastas, pates, jellies and chocolates are perfect makings of a picnic. This location, housed in the Atwater market is perfect for picking up meats, cheeses and produce after you load up on baked goods.
