One of the few bad parts about travelling is that you often get food cravings that seem almost impossible to fulfill back home. There was the time when I wanted authentic Sichuan cuisine, and the time when I wanted Brazilian pan de queijo. During my last trip to Colombia I enjoyed so many good food, that I wanted to repeat the experience back home.
Luckily for me, I had a Colombian neighbor at the time. She suggested that I visit Pollos Mario for a great ajiaco, or simply to enjoy a tintico (coffee) and almojábana bread. Fittingly, Pollos Mario is located on Medellín street, in Colonia Roma, and around it there are plenty other Colombian restaurants.
