Together we took southward down the Uriah Butler Highway towards Victoria County to the Wild Fowl Trust; Pointe-a-Pierre, Trinidad and Tobago. The day ahead of us involved nature walks, long talks and loud laughs around our specially reserved lunch at the boutique guest house Petrea Place followed by acool afternoon visit up the San Fernando Hill, San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago.
The Wild Fowl Trust was perfect.
With my mind clear, me totally focused on my time and the moment, interacting with nature, walking slowly. No agenda. Life. Great Company.
The walk around the Trust took just over an hour, we walked with our very patient guide who took the time to explain the ins and outs of the operation of the trust, the wetland birds kept and some interesting facts. Pass the small trickling waterfall near Forest Walk and round up your walk back around to the main house. This was not my first time to the Trust, but the time there was just as interesting as if it were.
