This past fall, a giant rubber duck make its way to Pittsburgh. I went down for the celebration of his arrival, and took my bike up the river in the direction he would be coming. I had a blast photographing the duck as he made his way up the Ohio River and eventually to the point where a huge crowd awaited him. He stuck around for about a month here in point state park.
After being closed for several years the fountain at Pittsburgh's Point State Park finally reopened, better than ever, in 2013. It's a lovely place to sit on a sunny summer day and watch the people go by on foot, by bike, and on boats.
