Point Pleasant Park
5530 Point Pleasant Dr, Halifax, NS B3H 1B5, Canada
Point Pleasant ParkThis wooded parkland wraps around the south end of the Halifax peninsula and really shows off the region's natural beauty. Once a hunting and fishing ground for the indigenous Mi'kmaq, and later a military bastion (you can still see ruins of various forts), it's now a popular recreational space for cyclists, runners and dog walkers. There's also a swimming beach and lookout points where you can watch boats enter and leave the harbor.
