At 33 meters (108 feet), Point Amour Lighthouse is the second-tallest lighthouse in Canada. Surrounded by limestone cliffs and the open ocean near L’Anse Amour, visitors can climb the 132 steps to the top for excellent views. It was built in the 1850s and has been partially restored to its original structure. There is also an exhibit detailing the maritime history of the Labrador Straits.
