Encircled by authentic Spanish cafés, bakeries, and shops, the Plaza Mayor is one of the most wonderful spots to people watch. Also where I spent much of my time throughout my time studying in Salamanca. Each night, the lights would go on at 10 p.m., and each night, the crowded plaza would cheer with enthusiasm. Some of my fondest memories from this trip began in the Plaza. Whether 4 p.m. or 4 a.m., you could always be sure that the Plaza would be lively. I wish every day to return to this spot!
