At about a mile in length and with gentle waters, Playa La Ropa is the favorite beach of many locals and visitors to Zihuatanejo. Sunbathing, swimming and simply strolling along the sand are the main pastimes of choice here, though plenty of outfitters are happy to rent gear for parasailing, snorkeling, jet-skiing and other water sports. Amenities abound, too, including kiosks where you can buy food and drinks. Some even have hammocks for a postmeal nap.
