Sneaking through a door at Antwerp’s Museum Plantin-Moretus I came upon a school group learning about 16th century printing presses. They happily accommodated me and let me watch the demonstration. I couldn’t understand the Dutch, but the 'plumb-plumb-plumb' of the ink presses was unmistakable. With the two oldest printing presses in the world – according to UNESCO – and a one of the earliest printed bibles, it’s a great visit for any book lover.
