Pearl of Slovenian coast: old stone houses are clustered between small port, picturesque cape and dominant church of. St. George and partly encircled by the medieval walls. Behind movie kind view of the Tartini square (Yes the famous violin virtuoso was born here!) one could get lost (not for long) in a maze of narrow streets. Houses look different every time you pass by – due to the rare sun beams. And some of them have got interesting details not to be missed… There are several churches around and lots of small chapels – to be discovered by patient observer. For the best sunset view you should go to the church of St. George or to the medieval wall further up. Wanna a find peaceful piece of the beach? – Just follow the coast past the cape Punta and under the St. George walls – you might get feet wet… Or there is a dryer option up the hill, past the church and on the cliff path towards Fiesa cove.
