San Francisco Tradition
The Pied Piper bar, located in the Palace Hotel, is a step back to the elegance of an earlier time. The bar's namesake, a painting by Maxfield Parrish, is once again hanging behind the bar. Briefly the hotel considered selling the painting but there was such fierce public outcry the hotel returned the painting to it's rightful home behind the bar. Good place for holiday drinks or take your out-of-town guests for a special step back to a more genteel era.
