A Tiny Green Slice of Peace and Quiet
Smack in the middle of the busy streets of Brussels' upper town, the garden of Petit Sablon offers a beautiful little haven for quiet reflection. Whenever I'm in Brussels I love to stop here and rest on the benches, surrounded by the statues of Brussels' builders - the guildsmen and tradesmen that made the modern city. I let the smell of the bay hedges and flowers mellow me out and the babbling of the fountain calm my mind before I head out to the streets again in search of another adventure.
