This is one of the most famous cevicherias in Lima. The name is a joke with Pecados Capitales (the Seven Capital Sins) since it sounds like Pescados (fish) Capitales, and the entire menu is named according to the seven sins. Just reading the menu is a lot of fun! The restaurant is quite large, with a friendly atmosphere and large tables -- a good choice if you are traveling with family or friends. Of course, the food is delicious: it comes in large portions and the variety of ceviches and pescados is great. The desserts are well-known options with a twist: using local fruits, such as chirimoya mousse and lúcuma meringue. One of the seven sins you’re guaranteed to commit: Gluttony!
