Early Sunday mornings in London are eerily quiet. Shops are all closed, and party goers are still recuperating from Saturday night, leaving the streets pretty empty. Which is why we were surprised to find Percy and Founders open at 8am in the morning serving breakfast.
Percy and Founders had a warm and inviting ambiance, and breakfast is served by the bar, where some of the patrons were reading newspapers and catching up on their day. We tried the Avocado and Poached Eggs, and the poached eggs were delicious. We also had the Classic English Breakfast, featuring bacon, sausages, eggs and black pudding, which was done very well at this establishment.
Mimosas are a must on Sunday mornings, so be prepared to have a few before heading out to start the day.
