Deep Wilderness Swimming Hole
Lo, witness a perfect swimming hole deep in the Mount Hood National Forest. More than an hour from the closest large settlement, yet less than two miles from the far more popular Bagby Hot Springs, Pegleg Falls probably gets its name from the dangerous-looking leap some choose to take from the falls themselves.

Some wise person installed a rope swing, guaranteed to give you the same rush as jumping off a waterfall with much less risk of earning a peg leg.

The Forest Service maintains a nearby picnic area and, as mentioned, nearby are locally famous hot springs where you can warm up after a dip in this cool, secluded pool.
