See Canadian Life Through a Local Lens at the Peel
Fascinating and well-maintained gallery and museum which looks at Canadian life through a local lens. Exhibits span textiles, Inuit art, personal immigration stories of local residents, and even a Titanic exhibition. Plenty of rainy day fun for kids, with regular workshops and drop-in studio sessions where the whole family can make creative projects inspired by the collections. Check online for the day-long camps for children aged 6–12, where they can learn skills like screen printing and native cuff beading.
