Performers on Pearl St. Pedestrian Mall in Boulder
I love living in Boulder because you can always head downtown and catch a show. Seen here: the "Zip Code Guy" does his thing, wow-ing locals and tourists alike with his inside geography skills. The Pearl Street pedestrian mall is filled with musicians, magicians, buskers and hustlers on any sunny day of the year.

Mid-Winter's Walk in the Heart of Boulder
Pearl Street draws throngs of folks in the summer when the buskers are busy, the flowers are in bloom, the air is warm and the vibe is jolly. But one of the best times to enjoy the charm of this walking mall is in the middle of winter; when the holiday lights have been hung and the street is yours to enjoy. Try having dinner in the West End and wandering down towards the East, perhaps stopping for a hot chocolate in the now-historic Boulder Cafe or even in the truly-historic Hotel Boulderado. After a day of playing in the snow, this is a great way to unwind and feel the magic of winter in the Rockies.
