One of the best things about the complex is that it is accessible from the River Walk trail system making it a great place to visit on the bicycle. The 22-acre site is home to the Culinary Instistute of America, the Aveda Institute, a year-round Farmers Market, yoga studios, great restaurants, bars, boutiques, and a bike shop. It is a great example of how an old, industrial complex can be transformed into a bustling area of commerce. New condos and modern architecture now mix with the old here and the complex is the recipient of several “green building” awards. It was the perfect place for us to end our day of exploring San Antonio.
