100 Years of Peanuts
Opened in 1907 and still dedicated to doing things the old-fashioned way, a walk down the historic brick road of Morris Avenue to the Peanut Depot is truly a step back in time. Get your peanuts salted, roasted, or boiled, and have them bagged up in a burlap bag to take with you. For a true taste of Southern food culture, take a seat on the curb, and after cracking open the salted peanuts, drop them in your can of Coke you got from the machine inside. I swear, it’s good.
