Beer & Belgium, what a pair!Need I say more?!
This photo is from the village of Passendale, which is best known for one of the fiercest battles in the First World War. In the main square, where there are just a couple of cafes, I spotted this sign for a very unique Belgian beer known as Kriek, which is fermented with fruit. The flag, which has been flying there for a while, it seemed to me by the state of it, incorporates both the nation and the pride of the nation.
