Parque Nacional Huascarán
Huascarán National Park is a lush natural area within the Cordillera Blanca, a range of the Andes that runs through the Ancash region of central Peru. You will find an abundance of hiking trails, lakes, and glaciers, all of which you can explore to your heart's content for the small entrance fee of 10 soles per person. Incredible views confront you at every turn throughout the park's 1,313 mi² range: snowcapped mountain backdrops, freshwater creeks, and cattle rambling through the pastures. If you are in the Huaraz area, consider spending at least a day here.
