Parque Nacional Amboro, Bolivia
Rain forest Trekking on Horseback
One of the most beautiful experiences I had in Bolivia was crossing a river on foot with our belongings over our head (the boat never showed up) and arriving to the other side to find our horses waiting for us to take us through. We picked and ate bananas off of trees, experienced a heavy downpour, listened to the cry of frogs and rode horses for a few hours and didn't even see 1% of this vast national park. I highly recommend arriving in Buena Vista very early in the morning, having a delicious local coffee and finding a guide to take you to the entrance of the park by early morning.
