A city within a city is how some describe the enormous structure known as Parkview Green. Certified as among the most environmentally friendly buildings in China, it offers a blend of retail, business, and hotel space encased in a triangular glass cover. A massive open space inside is separated into levels, crisscrossed by walkways, and decorated with the owner's art—think everything from original Da Vinci sculptures to life-sized bulls that seem to be flying through the venue.
Parkview Green feels like a bit of Hong Kong in Beijing, and is especially attractive during those bitterly cold and dry winter days, when everyone wants to stay inside. Once there, you will find a good range of dining options, from coffee chains to local dumpling favorite Ding Tai Fung to a branch of San Francisco patty provider Burger Bar. There is also a food court centered around a giant model of the Eiffel Tower. Like the flying cows, that is one of those you-need-to-see-it-to-believe-it things at Parkview Green. Bring a camera.
