Drink as the Romans Drink
Since ancient times, Rome
(known in inscriptions by the Latin initials SPQR—"Senatus Populusque Romani," or, "The Senate and the People of Rome") has prided itself on the fact that its residents have had access to fresh, clean drinking water everywhere throughout the city. Once a status symbol and great feat of engineering, today citizens of the Eternal City still take pride in their ever-flowing supply of fresh water. Fill a water bottle, or do as the Romans do and drink directly from the fountain. Centuries of thirsty people can't be wrong.
