A Taste of Ireland in the Andes
As much as I love Peru, Peruvian food, and Cusqueña beer, sometimes, after one has been in Peru for an extended period, it's time for something different. Bring on Paddys Irish Pub, which claims to be the "highest 100% Irish-owned pub on the planet" at 11,156 ft above sea level. In addition to Peruvian beer, they have Guinness and two cider varieties, rarities in Peru. They have good pub food too. And, located right on the Plaza de Armas, the location can't be beat.
