Ozu Castle Ōzu Japan
Ozu Castle
Ozu Castle was originally built in the 14th century, but like many of Japan's other castles, was destroyed and damaged throughout the centuries. Reconstruction of its main keep ended in 2004, and inside is a small museum with information about the reconstruction (which, unlike most other reconstructed castles in the country, was done using traditional techniques and using traditional materials). A combo ticket is available for entry to the castle and another of Ozu's famous sites, Garyu Sanso Villa.
