The guidebooks tell you to got Essaouiara, the picturesque harbor on the southern end of the Atlantic coast of Morocco. Its beautiful of course but so is much less visited and much more moroccan Oualidia. Oualidia is a small quiet oyster and fishing village with a beautiful protected bay perfect for swimming. Its been developed in recent years as a place that the people of Casablanca come to visit to escape the city and breath in the sea air. Quiet and pretty, with a beautiful protected beach and stunning rocky coastline facing the wild Atlantic. Great food as well.
