Italian restaurant Opera Bombana (if you'll excuse the pun) exploded onto the scene when it opened in Beijing in the summer of 2013. A branch of famed Hong Kong restaurant, Otto e Mezzo—for those who count Michelin stars, it has three—it ranked among the most anticipated openings.
Opera Bombana includes signature dishes from HQ alongside concoctions created for the Beijing market. The venue includes a wine cellar, a charcuterie and cheese room, and an open bakery that serves some of the best bread you'll taste. Diners have lunch and dinner options, with the pastas (made daily) getting consistent praise. Expect to spend some serious money here.
