Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre

The Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre features the very own impressive collection of World War I aircraft and artifacts of director Sir Peter Jackson (of Lord of the Rings fame), as presented in the Knights of the Sky exhibition. Scenes depicting the aircraft in context (usually during war) are convincingly real thanks to the efforts of the talented WingNut Films and Weta Workshop. Open daily with guided tours available twice a day.
