Oludeniz Beach and the "Blue Lagoon"
A great beach to watch the world go by.
Oludeniz it is one of those places where if you like to look at the world through the comedic lens of photographer Martin Parr then this is the place for you. Packed together under white beach umbrellas Turks, Brits and Russians splay themselves over florescent sand and bob in the calm clear turquoise waters of this national park. I rented a kayak and paddled around the outskirts looking at the land from AFAR as I watched massive sea turtles float by below me. Note that this bright white beach is actually made up of tiny pebbles much like many Med beaches. Paragliding is also very popular here.
