Old Course at St Andrews LinksScotland is the birthplace of golf, and no fairway is more legendary than the Old Course in Fife. Frequent host of the Open Championship, the Old Course at St Andrews is actually the oldest golf course in the world, iconic for its Swilcan Bridge and Hell Bunker. Despite its grand status, it remains a public course, open to all. Golf isn’t played on Sundays, however, so take advantage of the empty links and stroll from hole to hole, posing for a selfie on the half-century-old stone footbridge.
