in memoriam The victims of the Oklahoma City bombing are memorialized in what is perhaps the most moving and most beautiful memorial created in the United States. Located in the heart of OKC there is a museum alongside the memorial. This is an absolute must do when following along Route 66. Plan on spending several hours on the site and at the museum. And if you are thinking you don't want to because it is too sad- don't worry - this is touching but also life affirming. The site is open until nightfall and the memorial markers (chairs) are lit at night creating a serene, peaceful place to honor the dead.
