Cape of La Hague

D402

West of Cherbourg, the Cape of La Hague is a rugged, wind- and wave-swept promontory famous for its beautiful landscapes. Take a half-day trip here to explore traditional Normandy villages tucked among hidden valleys and atop soaring sea cliffs. Visit the botanical garden surrounding the Château de Vauville, and see Port Racine, the smallest fishing port in France. At Jobourg, you can stand atop the magnificent Nez de Jobourg—110-meter granite sea cliffs overlooking the English Channel.
