Folk museum at its finest
With over 150 buildings, transplanted from all over the country, the Museum of Norwegian Culture is a great place to spend a few hours exploring. Located on Bygdoy, it's a quick ferry ride over from the Oslo
harbor. From rustic farm houses with sod roofs (complete with farm animals) to typical street corners from the 1950s, to school houses and a stave church -- it makes a great 2 hour visit!
