Nobu Hotel Los Cabos

Why we love it: Japanese minimalism and Mexican craft combine in the newest Nobu retreat.

The Highlights:
- A signature beachfront restaurant from chef Nobu Matsuhisa with epic views, plus five other bars and restaurants
- Four pools, including one with a swim-up bar
- 13,691-square-foot spa including indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy areas

The Review:
Feel relaxed upon arrival, as you walk through a Japanese-inspired courtyard before
reaching dramatic stone gates that reveal a striking ocean view. From there, it will never get harder than having to decide between pool, beach, or spa. Studio PCH's Severine Tatangelo designed the ode to Japanese minimalism using Mexican materials like Cabo stone and dark woods. The 200 minimalist rooms feature teak soaking tubs, private balconies, and handcrafted art, and some allow direct access to the main pool from your room.

The property has four pools, including one facing the beach that’s lined with spacious slatted wood cabanas, and one with a swim-up bar—did you know it’s possible to make a swim-up bar classy? When you need a break from the sun, make your way to the massive spa, which has 13 treatment rooms, a salon, , state-of-the-art fitness center, outdoor yoga deck, spin studio, and an outdoor hydrotherapy garden with a water circuit, experiential shower, cabana Jacuzzi, outdoor shower, steam, and sauna areas. Make time to dine at each of the six bars and restaurants, including Nobu and an outpost of the beloved Malibu Farm. Other highlights include an on-site garden, kids club, and direct proximity to two world class golf courses.
