Vegetarians and vegans visiting Dubrovnik will be delighted to find Nishta, a cozy hole in the wall restaurant decorated with funky colors, cartoon animals, and fresh flowers. Raw and gluten-free menu options are also available, and the salad bar alone is well worth the trip (even if you're a carnivore). Order a fresh lemonade, served in a glass bottle with a cartoon cow on the side. The food is obviously prepared with love; my falafel plate was the best I've ever had (and I have eaten falafel all over the world). Your server will give you a thoughtful little trinket to take home with you so that you can always remember your Nishta dining experience. And don't forget to peek into the restroom before you leave.
