The New Jewish Cemetery is a little ways out of the center of Prague, right near the Zelivskeho metro station. It is beautiful and green, and oh so quiet compared to the busy winding streets of the main city.

Although the most famous feature there is probably Kafka's grave, there are also sobering memorials to the tragic number of lives lost in the Holocaust. The cemetery is closed on Saturdays and Jewish holidays, but it is worth finding a time to visit.
