Massachusetts has no shortage of local ice cream in the summer, but New City Microcreamery is something special. This year-round café is one of a few businesses helping to breathe new life into an old shoe manufacturing town. The ice cream is made from local Mapleline Farm dairy and is flash frozen with liquid nitrogen to seal in flavor and preserve the rich, creamy texture. The atmosphere is always lively! If ice cream isn't your thing, they have bagels, coffee, and an assortment of other goodies to try.
