We pass through the Sherpa villages- Namche Bazaar and Khumjung to the Gokyo Valley and the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest in Nepal Himalaya. The summit of Gokyo Ri (5365m), provides a glance of the four peaks above 80000m, such as Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu with 360 degree panoramic view of the high mountains. Gokyo is located in the valley immediately west of the Everest (Khumbu) valley and is far less developed and crowed than its better-known neighbor to the east. In fact, the Gokyo Valley is the only traditional permanent settlement of this area. The flora and fauna are other ornaments of the Sagarmatha National Park.
