Going Barefoot in Negril
Negril, or the "capital of casual" as it's known in Jamaica, is everyone's favorite getaway, from locals to tourists who return year after year. It's the perfect vacation town, split into two equally gorgeous sides: the beach and the cliffs or "West End." The infamous Seven Mile Beach's powdery white sands and constant buzz are balanced out by the West End's breathtaking, serene views of cliffs towering over the Caribbean Sea. From the bars, hotels and restaurants gracing Seven Mile to the local eateries and boutique resorts perched on the cliffs, the town's scenery is straight out of a novel. And while there's more hustle and bustle on this end of Jamaica and throngs of tourists, there are also many secluded spots to explore and local experiences to be had. You can't come to Jamaica and not see Negril, at least once.
